Came here for my moms birthday for the first time after many recommendations. Eddies did not disappoint! Everyone loved their food & everything was soooooo fresh.

This place don't look like much from outside but the food is AMAZING. I mean it. Go try and tell me different. I challenge you! And the owner is always there to make sure everything is perfect. They even added or will change a dish if you ask for it.

Hands down this is the best place to come for great pasta. The staff is always friendly and when they owner is there, he treats you like you are family. The palomino vodka pasta with chicken is by far my favorite. So much sauce & flavor! The portions are so large so you basically have food for the next couple of days. Highly recommend!

Eddies gourmet is a straight up hole in the wall and I love it. Classic diner, with great food, and hidden gems. A solid secret are the 'Hawaiian fries'. French fries with flavors you can't experience anywhere else. If you're really hungry, 'Eddie's zip pasta' will satisfy the tummy and leave you with leftovers. Simple, delicious eats and dive atmosphere at Eddie's. If you're the one to complain or are in a rush don't go cause they don't need that energy. Place rocks, chill spot. Keep it classic Eddie.

Eddies is aight, the server that took care of us was too quiet and I couldn’t really tell what she was saying.. the place itself is quite small but has a nice diner vibe. A lot of pasta on the menu, I ordered the Ziti Alfredo, pretty cool how you can see the food being prepared but the pasta wasn’t super memorable .

From the first moment you arrive in this place they give you an enjoyable feeling. Very comfortable waiters, it is a nice place to pass time with friends or with your date. delicious food, professional chef, competitive pay and attentive service. Highly recommended.

I've been coming here for sometime. I was in the mood for a chicken wrap. What the waitress recommended was horrible and they charge you over $ 3.00 for a small plate of fries. The food and service was horrible. The waitress was handling food without any gloves on. I'm never coming back here again.

Very disappointed in the liquini red. Came out with a heavy spaghetti sauce. Brought it back they put a cream in it to lighten it and it tasted burned. Another order for zip shrimp came with 5 very small shrimp. Seriously save your money overpriced and definitely not as good as it used to be.

Chicken alfredo is sooo delicious and filling! Could have passed out after eat it☺️

This place is an absolute GEM! Amazing food and hospitality. I travel extensively for business and eat out a lot... like a lot... Eddie's is in my all time top 5 nationwide for best food and overall experience. Family owned and operated. If you are in the greater Detroit area, this is a must try spot... the food is fresh, and absolutely fantastic. They're doing it right.

500 Stars! I eat here once a week and I drive 45 minutes to do so! Hawaiian fries and Roma pasta is where it’s at! Eddie is great and so is the staff and food. Now they have alcohol they’ve really stepped it up and i’m so happy for them. :)

Diner setup, friendly environment. Grab a seat by counter to see all the food being made. Would highly recommend Filet Mignon and bomb-ass Hawaiian Fries, and Roma Pasta. Wear loose clothing because you literally can't stop eating all the delish food. Eddie is an awesome guy too!!

Eddie's zip pasta was perfectly light and delicious. It has a retro interior but the food is delicious. Definitely recommend their pasta dishes

Eddies gourmet is a local spot they have great soul food and a at home family type of feel thanks for staying open and being here for your local community much appreciated

Very cute place. Been waiting to try it for a while as I work at the hospital down the way... Fun old diner vibe. Limited seating but plenty of bar spots, couple of booths on both sides and super friendly servers. The portions are very generous...got the pasta with broccoli, mushrooms and chicken as on pic below and it was huge and quite good. The lemon rice soup was also spot on! Wanted to try to the pistachio pie but wasn't available today, will have to be for next time!

This place is amazing! Everything is fresh and the sauce is not heavy on the pasta. Even though this is a small dine in place I'll be sure to come back again! Adding additionally the steak frits too made the dish even more delicious. Perfectly cooked everything. I have no complaints! You'll see a lot of locals in the area as well, so it's a pretty friendly family own place. Make a stop you won't regret it!

As an owner I feel like you should atleast inform your customers if your meat/noodles has changed especially charging $35 a plate of pasta. The palomino vodka pasta doesn’t come with “any noodles we have available “ as your employee stated. It always comes with rigatoni not penne. The shrimp was so weird looking. The chicken looked like fake chicken and the filet was cut into small pieces that I believe wasn’t even filet. Horrible horrible quality.

Waited 40 minutes for bland, undercooked overpriced pasta and a dry, lackluster club sandwich. Wait staff was very nice and seemed on top of things, but unfortunately the restaurant was very disappointing.

Came here for Valentine’s Day. We walked in and sat at the bar. We waited at the bar and continued to be ignored by the staff for almost 5 minutes. I had to waive down a staff member for a menu. We ordered the Eddies Zip Pasta and Palomino Vodka and Hawaiian Fries.After we ordered we got our fries within 5 mins. We then waited a solid 30 mins for our pasta. I normally give slow service 2-3 star reviews but the food really made up for the experience. Pasta was 10/10 and I absolutely LOVED the pasta. Fries were 10/10 as well. We then waited another 10 mins for the bill and continued to be ignored by the wait staff. I will definitely be back because of the food but don’t expect me to tip well if I keep getting bad service.

Out in the sprawling expanse of metro Detroit, Eddie's is definitely great in the context of its surroundings. I tried the penne scampi, which was a generous portion that was well flavored.

Omg, if I could only give this place 20 ☆ I would. Where do I begin.... Yum is all I could say. The ZIP pasta with chicken was the best thing my mouth has ever tasted. It is insanely delicious. I like white fish but this one was recommended by a friend is it was really really good as well. The other pasta is with red sauce and chicken and it was to die for. If you're looking for great food, Eddie's is the place. I also heard their steaks are superb as well. I'll def be back

It so funny I have lived in Oak Park, MI. for 25 years and never noticed this place. I found out about Eddie's from the news because they were doing a store about Eddie's now serving alcohol drinks and that is a big deal in Oak Park, MI. only about 2 or 3 restaurants serve alcohol. Went there for a drink and I was blown away with the quality of food and the size of there meals. The Hawaiian fries are the real deal and the pasta is hand made and excellent. I have been back 4 times in 2020. The place is small, but the staff and owner make everyone that walk through the door feel like family.

This place never fails to impress. They serve good dishes for fair rates, there no long wait even when the place is busy.

What an absolute gem. Hawaiian fries and pasta Roma were absolutely unreal. Service was great. How many places will cook your food feet away and then literally plate it in front of you? Now how many of those places have Eddie doing that same thing? Exactly. Eat at Eddies. God damn was it good.

Been coming here for a while yesterday came here with group of 5 all got bunch of small noodles a ton of them small pieces of fillet and barley any chicken i don't get what happened

The food: I got the Zip pasta and the wait time was Zip-py. The actual food was delecious and it also came with a complimentary side of bread that was also tasty.The Staff: They were very friendly and helpful. Brandon(Eddie's son) was very nice to us, he even offered to wrap up our to-go boxes.The restaurant: it has a nice asmostphere, and I really like how you can actually see them cooking the food.Overall definitely check it out when you're in the area.

Had the usual Filet & chicken zip pasta w a side of Hawaiian fries. A great spot to go even if you have to make a longer drive for myself its over an hour away but the food and service is worth it!

One of my favorite places for steaks. Always perfectly cooked and the zip sauce is great. I haven't seen it on the menu but I recommend the Hawaiian fries (french fries coated in zip sauce with parmesan and red pepper flakes). My wife loves the lemon rice soup

This is one of our favorite places to eat. It's a small diner but don't be fooled by the size. The food, nearly everything, is tremendous. I love the Grecian Pasta and my husband loves the Zip Pasta with garlic chicken breast. You definitely will walk out of here full. Everything is cooked fresh and right in front of you basically. It's a great place to go as a couple.

Always hits the spot! If you're craving a good steak dinner with zip sauce to die for, THIS IS THE SPOT! Eddie cooks up high end type foods ie steak Diane, pasta bowls with your choice of meat & sauces the choices are endless! Plus Eddie's doesn't hit your pocketbook too hard = win win situation, come in take a spot at the bar, order, and watch Eddie make magic!

One night my sister & I wanted a good hamburger. Stopped in Eddie's and we were not disappointed. The best burger ever. 🍔🍔 My sister said the cook was outstanding in his preparation as she watched.

The food was excellent. Service could be better. The place is a delicious hidden secert.

I heard a lot of great things about this place and unfortunately it did not live up to the hype. I tried the zip sauce pasta-I didn't get any sauce and there was little to no seasoning. My family just could not eat their meals-$60 down the drain
